The blow that killed it was called the Cataclysm: an unstoppable tide of dark magic known as the Silence woke the first Dread Lords, the eldritch godlings gestating in the fertile crusts of Ansera's eight constituent worlds. The world of Gazra was the first to fall--ripped to shreds in an endless catastrophic war between its hungry Lords--but it won't be the last. Already Gazra's neighbors are experiencing the Quickening, and soon the Lords stirring within them will hatch. </p> <p> Ari Megradzi is thoroughly sick of running. She spent her entire childhood playing the world's worst game of hot potato, where the participants were her family and a rotating cast of people who either wanted to kill her or enslave her. She's tired of being the reason her family can't live a normal life, and she's tired of fighting to hold back a power she can barely understand, much less control. So when her mother falls ill with the sort of sickness only the Black Priests of the Coven can heal, Ari sells herself to the witches to secure her mother's care and the rest of her family's safety. The Coven is thrilled to have a Scion of the Calamity--the aspect of destruction--on their hands. They have just the place to send her, in fact... </p> <p> The elven homeworld of Imtheria is under siege by a murderous goddess, and Ari might be the key to striking her down, but she's got a long way to go before she's in any sort of god-killing shape. She's now a very valuable pawn, and in order to survive she'll have to learn how to navigate cutthroat Coven politics, figure out how to control her magic, and build a cabal--a group of powerful consorts that will protect her and strengthen her. Under the tutelage of a grouchy but beautiful dark elf archmage, Ari's going to be whittled into a weapon that might save Imtheria for now... but a rampaging goddess isn't the only threat lurking in the planet's depths. </p> <p> <strong> This is an 18+ dark fantasy/harem story with a little cosmic horror flavor! The MC is female with an all-female harem. I'll be updating once a day for the first week, and then 2-3 times a week afterwards. ^^ </strong> </p>
