On her world, Verdu, Altura Greene is the Head Priestess of the Sisters of the Greene, a female-only cult of nature worshippers. Through their advanced nature magic, they've developed an affinity with the world around them and all living creatures within it.

When Altura is assassinated in her own temple by someone she thought was a friend, she's pulled into the world of Somnium by the Lord of the Hidden Wyld, Silvys. Silvys has granted Altura his blessing and selected her to become his champion in the Immortal War. Altura Greene embarks on a quest to grow the Grove of Silvys and win the Immortal War in her patron's name.

Her journey takes place thousands of years before the events in the Scourge Wars. Readers will get to experience the history of Somnium in a way never before seen as the events in Grow become the legends and myths of the Scourge Wars books.
