Silas Blackmere left the Imperial army and ended up stranded in Mour Wharf, a walled city near the capital of the empire he served.

Things went from 'not great' to 'bad' quickly when a magical dome was put over the city and guards were stationed at each of the exits, ready to arrest anyone trying to leave who bore the hidden mark of a star on their brow for "crimes against the Empire". Then things went from 'bad' to 'worse' when the nights began to be patrolled by monsters. Dubbed 'Eaters', these monsters kill and consume the heads of their prey.

Bearing a star mark himself, Silas must figure out how to survive until he can either escape or overcome.

✯ Notes: The story intends to stay around the PG-13 level, though some scenes may occassionally go a bit further.

- The profanity is semi-regular, but hopefully not excessive or crude.

- The gore is only occassional. If you are particularly squeamish, it's usually confined to about a paragraph.

- (Non-harem) Romance is intended as a secondary element of the story. In the future the story may have sexual content, but it will also stay around the PG-13 mark, going to veils/closed doors before it exceeds that rating.
