After Virtual Reality Capsules became so widespread that people started living their entire lives in Virtual Reality. Loki Entertainment took VR one step further and created CR (Cultivated Reality), a real-world for their clients to inhabit.

That was countless years ago. Now, Jester, the system running this world has fallen in disrepair and due to an overflow error, it thinks the world has only just been created and transports all the 'beta-testers and 'developers' to Angholm.

Frederick and Alice are the first among these people, join them in their adventure.
