For nearly two centuries, the kingdom of Emeryn has been shrouded in darkness. An ancient evil ravages the land, acting as a blight, bringing death and destruction in its wake. With the last of humanity barely surviving behind defensive walls, the threat of human extinction seems less like a nightmare and more of a reality.

Kieru is a boy whose life is turned to ash before his very eyes. A boy who is forced to come to terms with the harsh reality of the world he lives in. But now, he must grow up, and he must find a reason to live.

As the Age of Dread continues to devour the kingdom, Kieru and others like him join the Deliverance, a revered Legion of warriors sworn to drive back the evil seeking to swallow the world.

And so, taking their first steps towards an unknown future, their training begins...
