Every year, those who have come of age are granted gifts by the Divines. Most people receive something relatively mundane, like an increased pain tolerance, or a bit of healing magic. Some, however, receive extraordinary gifts. In a time of crisis, 6 such people are chosen by the Divines to be a set of matched blades, the only group of people capable of defeating the greatest evil that the world has ever known.
