When your life is ruled by the taking of others lives, what are the consequences? Is there a balance that will one day come to claim yours? The eyes of the deceased follow the 5 hit men who belong to The Kalapu. Their newest member earns his title and officially joins the ranks, but at what cost? As they go about their gory business, collecting lives as the reapers of their organization, how much ire do they draw from the forces that truly control life and death? Nocks, Known, Shine, Moan, and Dough will soon find out what happens to those who place themselves in the shoes of the true arbiters of death. ---------------------------------------------

This is my entry to the Metus Contest. It will be a mix of Organized Crime and Horror, leaning more towards Horror as the story moves forward.

There are and will be graphic depictions of violence, gore, sex, and strong language. Possibly triggering subjects will be broached. I am in no way glorifying organized crime or any of the activities depicted.
