Refusing as he always had to lay down and take it, Asren set to measure his steps and tread this path for his own life. To take what was his, and then some. Promising to himself for everything he cared about that he'd sooner unravel the world itself, than let it unravel him.

This book is a Darksouls/Bloodborne/Lovecraftian/Fantasy-in-genral inspired progression fantasy written about a peculiar thief's journey through a treacherous world. What you should know?

1. The Mc is not overpowered, but he's not excessively weak. At least in the long term.

2. The novel isn't short but I intend to finish it if I'm able.

3. Gamelit/Litrpg elements come in later and are, for the most part, not done in the routine way you might imagine. They are there, they are a core part of the story, just not in the beginning segments.

4.It can start a little slow, but I encourage you to stick with it. I intend to pay off just as much as I buildup. For the record things really Kick off at around chapter 20.
