"Serve with honor! Devote your soul!"

In a hellish alternate universe, the citizens of Humanity live confined inside walls to protect them from elves, monsters, and other terrifying dangers. But there's a world beyond the walls… a world Uriel and Kai are determined to find. After an elf attack destroys their hometown, the two cousins apply to OA, a prestigious military high school full of deep personalities and even deeper secrets.

The two boys join House Uaris, the Eagle House led by the mysterious Prince Atchison of Humanity. As prince, Atchison has been special his whole life, but at school he's exactly what he's always wanted to be… ordinary. In leading the House of the Eagle, he takes to the skies and sends his students advancing towards the most dangerous high school experience of their lives.

But OA isn't as simple as fighting elves. When a Human noble goes missing it's soon evident that traitors and secrets run rampant. Years of tension between Humanity and the elven nation of Eleftheria are finally coming to a head. In trying to save themselves and Humanity, Kai, Uriel, and Atchison soon discover the line between right and wrong isn't as distinct as they thought.
