A white sphere descended from the deep sky on a sunny autumn afternoon. Approaching the ground, the snow-white sphere of plutonium exploded with a terrifying fury, wiping a city off the face of the earth in a horrifying nuclear explosion. The air of the earth was heavy with the wailing of men in that gloomy afternoon.

People, though, continued on. With amazing speed and a ferocious desire for vengeance, they sprang at each other. The next morning, before dawn, a society that had evolved over millions of years was entirely obliterated. The nuclear explosion reduced all of the world's communities, magnificent monuments, and majestic sky-high cities to dust .

A long time has passed since then. The world is still a primitive sprawling mass of ruins. The flame is still burning in the lifeless ruins, black smoke is rising in the sky. Among them, some discolored, uncontrollable, clumsy robots wander around hesitantly. Contaminated water in the sea, lakes and rivers, toxic soil, radioactivity in the air and some people are barely living in the middle of it.

Those people's lives are extremely difficult and terrible. No love in their hearts, no hopes in their eyes. They live each day in preparation for the next. A life devoid of love, which is dry, difficult, miserable, and awful.

The few people scattered across the globe are saved by Drustan – the nexus of secure computer bases on Earth that have survived the annihilation. It's an incredibly powerful operating system permeated by infrared rays in quartz fibers.
