A young boy walks into a city center, three statues await him. A tall man with an elegant spear, a woman holding a mighty sword and a short man with a beautiful staff. Three names were written upon them. Orion the dauntless steel, Lyphiri the frosted sword and Aeram the wind ward king.

60 years before this, a baby boy with wisps of blackened hair and the strength of steel in his eyes was born.

Orion, having trained with a spear all his life, traditional Greek parents wanting to teach their child "ancient techniques", to him just fancy ways to spin a pointy stick. Yet after being transported to the first Arta with his 2 friends he has never been more grateful for those skills.

As the three friends work their way through this new and dangerous world as the adults around them attempt to recreate what once was, they decide to fight their way through this new world learning skills and mastering new magic within the First Arta...
