The red wastes are no place for an elf.

Alexa is far from the verdant forests of her starting zone and the comforts of Haven. A devil's bargain has brought her the Black Gate zone: a land of red ash, fiery rivers, and fearsome elementals where dragons yet rule the sky and only a single settlement holds back monsters the dungeons belch forth. Many adventurers seek wealth and glory in this wild place, but Alexa is not one of them. The dusk elf searches for a ruin built before the shattering of the world, a mentor who can help free her mind from supernatural bonds, and an artifact of her beloved goddess, Elune.

Her path is not an easy one, however, for something ancient stirs in the wastes. And as the monstrous tribes of the zone move to bring down its last bastion of civilization, Alexa finds her way impeded not by agents of darkness, but light.
