<p>I fell... and died.</p> <p>At least... I believed that was the case.</p> <p>When I regained awareness, I tried to make heads or tails of the situation. I discovered I was still inside my apartment after I'd supposedly fallen to my death. When I turned around amidst the eerie silence of my appartment, what awaited directly behind me was something I never expected.</p> <p>Whisked away, caught up in a heated confrontation, I fled for my life and escaped to a deserted island... only, I was not quite alone on this island. Someone... or something was there with me. A monster? A ghost? Perhaps both? Who knew? I sure as hell clearly didn't anymore.</p> <p>Initially I was entranced by nature when I first arrived, but I quickly learned first hand just how scary nature truly was. Be it the denizens of forests, deserts, or seas; or the solidarity of icy mountains or the violent wrath of raging volcanoes, untold horrors unexpectedly arose at every turn.</p> <p>The only thing I knew was, I could only do my best to survive on this island, both through the beauty... and horrors of the natural world.</p> <p>I knew from the start that this island was far from a simple one. It was a deserted island with many things you'd never expect to find all in one place. One thing in particular, so useful, you might even think that nature was no longer a threat; it's a real shame you'd be completely wrong to make that assumption.</p> <p>On this strange island where things could hit the fan from one minute to the next, it was even more so the case here, where a single moment of carelessness could result in losing everything.</p> <p>Nature, since time immemorial, fostered some of the world's most beautiful phenomenon; be it man or woman alike, at one point in their short lives, they have been enchanted by its beauty. At least... it should be that way.</p> <p>Unfortunately, for poor saps like me... nature was among the most terrifying, incomprehensible things in the world.
