description

Hello, my lucky potential reader,

My name is John, formally known as manzaibird, professionally known as John, because that is my real name, and to introduce myself in public as my username would be pretty strange...

This is a re-imagining of "The Going-Home Club". I let that story go... well, it didn't really go anywhere. However, there were some good moments that I'm proud of, and I don't regret having attempted it.

I'm writing for two reasons: to create something and to complete something. I've created a small amount of things, and not creating something for an extended period of time is kind of aggravating for a guy like me that imagines a lot. I think creating is fun. Hopefully you think this is fun too.

Now, the second reason is something that I can't promise on. In fact, I would say, if you're looking for something that'll finish, DO NOT read this. It's very likely that I'll leave this unfinished. If you don't mind unfinished works, try it, if you're not already reading a bunch of other stuff. I'd like to think this story is low maintenance for the both of us, yet I would be the first to argue not to digest too much fiction at once. It's bad for your brain gut.

I could talk about the story, but at this writing there is none yet*. When there is, well, you're going to have to start reading to find out.

 If you dare .

I like surprises.

This is the story of kids going home from school, and maybe learning something. Most of it is fluff. Enjoy.

*EDIT: There is stuff now, but I'll leave this in as is, because, one week later, I still am that guy who likes surprises. Though it's no real surprise to me because I already know what happens since I wrote it :(
