<p>Merit and Jolly has a father that would always warn them that their interest in entertainment would steal their lives away. Merit had no idea how literal that warning would turn out to be. Engaged in virtual reality video game, named the Xenal XP, Jolly has fell to a stasis, seemingly never to wake up again. Months passes by with no update to his status and Merit has lost patience with the hospital. He makes a bold decision to try to find Jolly and embraces the Xenal Experience.</p> <p>About this story:</p> <p>This is the first and so far, ONLY web novel in the Xenal XP series. I currently do not plan to write a sequel to it.</p> <p>This is a story that will primarily take place in a virtual reality action rpg game that is highly inspired by a video game called "Dark Souls". However, a lot of it will also be set in the "real" world as well. There are a lot of fantasy AND sci fi elements to this story. The earlier chapters will try to introduce aspects of both the Xenal XP and the physical world. Due to such, there will be a big number of explanations. Later chapters will be a lot more plot, character, and combat focused.</p> <p>Chapter release schedule: Every Monday</p>
