<p>Science- fantasy Romance.</p> <p>Note; Romance is a journey of discovery between two people who must overcome difficult challenges internally and externally. It is about coming to care for and appreciate each other and being there when the world crumbles into chaos around them. The occasional passionate scenes will be a byproduct and not the main focus of this.</p> <p>Romance is an added dimension to a story that takes the characters through a world of betrayal and war. A place where nothing is as it seems and corruption is rife.</p> <p>Cardonia is a planet where women have developed magical abilities and men have none. As you may have guessed – this creates a place that does not promote equality between the sexes.</p> <p>One thing this culture does believe in – is the notion of a soulmate. Other planets and peoples may dismiss and ridicule this belief.</p> <p>Damon is Kat's Soul mate. The two should be compatible in every way and destined to fall in love. Everything should be love and fluffy kittens. Together, standing side by side they would face all challenges and defeat their enemies.</p> <p>Reality check;</p> <p>Kat's mother has been assassinated and a planet under their control has been invaded. Her planet has no army – because the queen is expected to protect it using her gift. All well and good, if the queen actually knows how to use their gift…</p> <p>Cardonia is not the only planet that stands to be enslaved should she fail to stop the Dante Corporation. War would be called and blood would flow. No scrap that = War is called and blood does flow.</p> <p>Catch 22;</p> <p>Whilst Damon is still under the spell that her ancestor put on him 500 years ago, any relationship would be a lie. Unfortunately, she cannot remove the spell when he has vowed vengeance on her family. Under the spell, there can be no romantic relationship. She also cannot simply let him go, because she needs him to enhance her magic.</p> <p>About the worlds I have created; On the destruction of the earth, humans flee and inhabit different planets. Dependent on the planet's atmosphere and ecosystem, most evolved in different ways. On some, magic will be prevalent, others technology and others will have a firm grounding in science, etc. I envision writing from the perspective of other cultures and planets in future books.</p> <p>I invite you to explore through the eyes of my characters, these worlds I have created...</p>
