<p> Mel finds themselves waking from a daze in the lobby of a strange academy. But it's not just any academy it's apparently <em> The Academy </em> . An academy that sits between worlds and teaches the fundamentals of magic beyond the ken of ordinary mortals. </p> <p> Except Mel's quite certain they're not meant to be there. The body they find themselves in is wrong and Earth doesn't seem to have magic in the first place. How long can Mel mooch off of the Academy while living the dream of witchcraft and wizardry? What will happen if he's found out? </p> <p> AN: Hey! This is my first published story. I'm using the writathon as an excuse to practice writing. My writing may be rough to begin with but I hope people can find enjoyment following along on this journey. Once the writathon finishes I may go back and edit a little. My rate of chapters will also go down at that point but hopefully the quality will increase as I have more time to edit and plan. </p> <p> The cover is a WIP I mocked up in blender.
