<p>All heroes follow the same patterns. They will get a great party of misfits together, they will journey across the lands in a quest to save the world, they will become strong enough to destroy whatever evils come their way and they'll look cool doing it.</p> <p>But at the end of their journey, after ages of travel and adventure, they will come face to face with the final boss of their adventure. A being so strong, so hopeless to fight against, that they must use everything they have learned on their adventures to win. It is always a battle of great proportions, of killing gods in space, or destroying mountains and continents in the process. And they will win as great heroes, to be remembered for ages to come. A great send-off to their long and arduous journey. It's all perfect, the way it should be.</p> <p>Though one little monster disagrees with that final bit.</p> <p>When the hero was only starting his journey, only a pitiful little farmer, with nothing but a best friend and a large sword, he was getting himself stronger by killing monsters in the small forest north of his home town. Unluckily for him, he missed but one slime in his massacre, leaving it injured and angry.</p> <p>Now aimed with purpose, the slime had a thought. A grand, evil thought.</p> <p>What if it could become the final boss? And instead of losing pitifully, it instead took away the hero's victory right at the finish line?</p> <p>Perfect, it thought.
