<p>Ezekiel woke up slowly, his eyes fluttering open as the morning sun filtered through the curtains of his bedroom window. He lay there for a moment, letting the events of the previous day wash over him. And then it hit him - today was the day. The day he had been waiting for, the day he had been preparing for. Today was the day he finally went to the capital for his magic evaluation.</p> <p>Ezekiel (Zeke) is certain that he has the talent to become a truly great mage and shape the world in his image. Follow Zeke to the capital, where he plans to attend Elementium; the best magic academy in the empire of Arcaneheim.</p> <p>--</p> <p>The main character does not start out strong in the story. In fact, he has to fight tooth and nail for pretty much everything. The story has dark parts, but i try to keep the overall vibe of the story positive, so people still have a good time while reading the story.</p> <p>This story IS a LitRPG, there are game elements such as a status screen and skills in this story - BUT! This is not a "Game world" I have tried to integrate the game elements into a world with a very thought out magic & power system. This world doesn't work like in a game where you can put '5 points in strength' and the body somehow changes magically into a stronger version of itself. It might take a couple chapters for the world and magic to start to make sense, but i feel like a power system that is built on solid principles is a lot more rewarding in the long run.
