<p> This is kinda rough but I haven't written on this in a while and decided to share it, because why not? </p> <p> Mabel is self reliant, a scaver, and enough of a shaman to get herself into trouble. She's had to take care of herself since her daddy got sucked up into that spinning jenny and turned into a bolt of some kind of fancy cotton. But she is dying right alongside the rest of the world--and she's not sure what scares her more. Living to see the end of the world, all the mana sucked up and turned bad, or dying before she can. She's got one shot, though--after the textile factory goes up and creates a fabric corruption out of the city, she sets off to some promised clean land where she can maybe start recovering. She just has to get there first. </p>
