<p>Hey all,</p> <p>Let me know what you think, as a reader I love knowing the history of a story.</p> <p>Not sure if anyone else does or if it distracts from a story as a whole. I can always leave parts of the chapter for later in the story</p> <p>Enjoy</p> <p>The world for me did not change when the Mana Nexus' formed. Not even when the Ley Lines connected them all into the Magical highway or the worldwide manna storm that mutated all the animals. No, My world changed when my daughter was born. My name is Spencer and this is the story of humanity's expansion into the stars.</p> <p>A good father will tell you that the whole world changes when their child is brought into this world. I have it on good authority that when my daughter was born the world did change.</p> <p>On April 16th at 0013 h and 38 Seconds in the year 2017, The mana that had been drained away thousands of years prior, regenerated, amassed, leaked or some other word that can describe what we don't know. What we do know is the energy levels were enough to hit some unknowable threshold. This created a series of subterranean mana crystals or mana nodes, hubs or nexuses' under major population centres, that would include almost the entire planet. Now I'm not a scientist, that is my wife's department, but apparently, when enough people are in one place for a few years they start to grow and let me tell you there are a lot of people now. It was a few years later that the level of mana on the planet became noticeable and that's where my life started to push me into who I would become, but more importantly who my daughters would become and the designs of beings so old are seen in the light.</p>
