<p>Imrathil was once the strongest and the greatest of the Knights of Dol Morag, humanity's defenders. Murdered, Imrathil's body was hacked apart and scattered in the Nameless Woods, where no one would ever find him.</p> <p>Our story begins a hundred years later. The world is in decline. Monsters and demons roam the countryside, preying on the weak and defenseless. Bandits, brigands, and corrupt nobles control the roads. Petty Kingdoms, ruled by the former members of the Knights of Dol Morag, wage war against those who dare defy them. In the Far North, the Demon King stirs from his slumber. To the Far East, entire empires burn as a barbaric horde of horsemen gallop from the plains, burning and pillaging as they go. To the Far West, an army of Ogres and Giants march under a single banner, devouring entire cities in their rampage. And, to the Far South, a strange sickness spreads among the people, turning good men and women into ravenous beasts. In the remains of the Nameless Woods, an old warrior awakens to a very unfamiliar world.</p>
