In addition, I try to avoid exposition dumps as much as possible, only revealing information (character or setting) whenever it's relevant to the moment. For example, magic will be an integral part of the story later, but as it isn't important at the beginning, it hardly comes up in any form.</p> <p>Who this isn't for - readers who want overpowered MCs, a fast-paced go go go story.
