<p>I probably will only upload the first couple of chapters, the first of which is focused on Sat-Tech Scott Hayashi, an opportunistic loner, as he is thrust into events beyond his control, for the time being. The overall story is based around the current world government called the Senter, a religious oligarchy of militant, supernaturally empowered beings that worship a God of Light called Senus. They rebuilt and control the majority of the New World after humanity has spent hundreds of years in post-apocalyptic disarray due to a string of man-made and natural disasters. The Carin, a space-based resistance movement and the remnants of the "space colonies of old" are the main opposing factions. The story is structured around several alternating perspectives on both sides of the ensuing conflict, one of those perspectives is Scott, the person in this first chapter. And the other is Orion, the man on the cover, a high-ranking Senter official, who is burdened with the task of taking the fight to the Carin. Just want to see what people think and am not considering uploading anything additional for the time being. Let me know what you think if you're interested enough to read, thanks! At most I've written a few fanfictions back in the day, but I have always been interested and want to grow and move forward as a writer.
