<p>In 2046 the world changed when, in some of the people born that year, some "mutations" appeared. After a while similar mutations appeared also in animals which became terrifying monsters and decided to reclaim "their world". So mutated humans realized that money, connections and political power were now useless and that through absorbing the energy of heaven and earth they could become "gods".</p> <p>Thus a terrifying war risked to destroy the world until the situation calmed down after 50 years in which reigned chaos. Countries were rebuilt, "Demonic beasts" (monsters) were on the brink of extinction, humans had perfected the art of cultivating through "meridians" (mutations) by absorbing Qi (energy of heaven and hearth) and the world was finally once again in peace.</p> <p>In 2101 a youth is unwilling to live a normal life but has no meridians. However he discovers that an "abnormality" he had since he was born could be a blessing in disguise, thus after various circumstances he ends up leaving a huge mark in history after becoming the king of demonic beasts...</p>

<p></p> <p>I'm sorry, but I decided to drop this novel. As for the reasons... to begin with lately because a lot of rl things (like my cat's death) I've been getting more and more gloomy and "The king of demonic beasts" was going to be quite a depressing story (please note the tragedy tag) and even if it feels stupid I thought that writing this novel would just worsen my situation so I decided to stop writing for a while.</p> <p>However something unexpected happened when I started to feel better after a few months: I skipped through my notes and realized that there is a huge plothole. At that point I tried to think of many different ways to fix the story... but I seriously didn't find any. So I was left with three options:</p> <p>1)Do I change the plot completely? (by doing so the quality of the story would have dropped by a lot)</p> <p>2)Do I keep writing until arriving at the point where the plot hole will appear and then try to find some random and unsatisfying solution and eventually drop it if I can't do so?</p> <p>3)Do I keep writing while hoping that nobody will notice the huge (but difficult to find) plothole?</p> <p>When I discovered that these were the only things I could do I decided that I didn't want it to end up this way so I chose the 4th option:</p> <p>4)I will stop writing the novel during the earlier chapters rather than unwillingly write something either...</p> <p>1--&gt;low quality</p> <p>2--&gt;Disappointing but barely acceptable</p> <p>3--&gt;unsatisfying</p>
