Only one word is needed to describe Ares Mercier,

Apathetic

He hated trivial things and enjoyed his rather simplistic life style.

Ares was smarter than his peers, devopled faster than the normal, the son of a respected warlord & gifted healer, and was even given a blessing at birth. Most would kill for the life he was given, but all of that doesn't matter to him. He just enjoyed reading and sleeping in his everyday life. Ares would practice and train only to please his family, but would never engage in any actual combat with it. He wasn't worried about being the strongest or smartest, he simply loved creating new things through his reading and trial & error.

AUTHOR'S NOTE

I decided to write seriously for once, and use this as a pass time for my summer break. This is my first story on Royalroadl, so I will accept CONSTRUCTIVE criticism that will improve my writing. Hope you enjoy this story despite the simple summary.

Only one word was needed to describe Ares Mercier,

Apathetic.

He hated dealing with trivial things, and enjoyed the charm of a simple life. Most of his peers were steadily trying to get to the top at all cost. As the son of a well respected warlord & highly gifted healer, most would kill for the life and advantages he was given. Yet many still couldn't comprehend why his only ambitions in life consisted of reading and sleeping. Ares would practice and train only to please his family, and he wasn't worried about being the strongest or even the smartest. He just held a strong desire to learn as much as he could, in the easiest way possible.

AUTHOR'S NOTE

I decided to write seriously for once, and use this as a pass time for my summer break. This is my first story on Royalroadl, so I will accept CONSTRUCTIVE criticism that will improve my writing. Hope you enjoy this story despite the simple summary.
