<p> A spinoff alternate universe light novel from the universe of Blazblue. Technically takes place between the third game in the series, Blazblue Chronophantasm and Blazblue Central Fiction, explaining the new character Naoto Kurogane's background. The release dates coincide with this viewing order as well. </p> <p> There are two parts, but it is treated as a separated single volume, chapter numbers carrying over between the two novels. </p> <p> One day, your typical Japanese high school student, Naoto Kurogane has a very bad day and meets a mysterious blonde-haired, golden eyed girl in a black mantle. Despite having trouble dealing with crowds, he attempts to maintain his pedestrian life, despite separating from his family, the Terumi Clan, going on to stay with his maternal aunt and cousin, Haruka, taking his mother's last name Kurogane. Despite leaving the clan, he still has the hereditary bloodline technique, the 'Hunter's Eye', which let's him see the remaining lifeforce of people around him. </p> <p> As Naoto's life and state of being changes after his fateful encounter, he must contend with mysterious and familiar threats from unknown agencies, cameo-filling bounty hunters, and domestic dangers. </p>
