One world is ending and another is just beginning. Well, at least it should if we can keep it together long enough. I am Ailis O'Conner, now only known as Ailis Swiftdeath. Earth is gone or will be soon. Ithea is all that remains for humanity and the Empire of Night might fall apart. Good thing I am quick with a knife and have no moral quandaries with killing enemies of the state or those that threaten the stability of the growing Empire. I am an Emperor's Fang, my will is absolute, my judgment unquestionable, my knife swift, and I will do anything for the Emperor. Authors Note* This is the third Short-Story after Blood and Honor. If you have not read that book, you will have no reference for the MC of this story or characters sorrounding her.
