<p> Word of warning: This is a draft and the grammar can get... iffy. </p> <p> --- </p> <p> Twenty years of human conflict ended only by an alien invasion and later reignited with the Contingency Plan. A last ditch effort to stop them, a world altering decision which was ultimately voted against by the biggest powers of earth and subsequently trigerred by the plan's creators anyway. </p> <p> Through each apocalypse that came over the world one constant remained. Wars were fought. And for wars to be fought, there had to be soldiers. </p> <p> This is a story of a handful of the best soldiers humanity has ever known, peak of humanity and technology, considered by many no longer human. </p> <p> ------ </p> <p> Originaly planned as nothing more than a power fantasy short fiction I decided to make it into something more. While to power fantasy, soldier's sotries and meaning of humanity remain a core element I do want to include even their backstories and some more lore later on. </p>
