Corvayne, a warrior exiled from his desert village, ends up at the sleepy city of Cascadia. He meets a girl and while trying to keep her safe (and maybe go on a date) the usual follows: Monsters, magic, mayhem, loot, defying an empire, extensive property damage, and maybe saving the whole universe. That's a big maybe. He is, after all, not the chosen one.

Follow Corvayne as he fights throngs of monsters and explores totally-not-Seattle with Wick; the foul mouthed and slightly unbalanced love of his life. He will accumulate a rotating party of friends and misfits, journey into dungeons made up of impossible dream-scapes full of dangers and loot, and gather power as he faces threats both inside the mysterious 'Towers' and without.

Updates: Monday, Wednesday, Friday

******************

This is my first story I'm putting out to the public. Any constructive feedback is appreciated!

This story will feature:

-A cast who are mostly good friends and mostly good people. We all have our rough edges.

-Lots of dungeons! Plenty of Dragons! Given it takes place on a colony world there might be spaceships too... You never know.

-Very light LitRPG elements that slowly seep into the story. Expect brackets and hints at systems and powers. You won't see damage numbers. I'll say everything does at least 10 damage. Using [Nuclear Detonation] with a battle axe? A full 10 damage for sure.

-Mysteries. Some things that characters will notice and comment on, some things that people shrug and walk past.

-A main character who has not played games. I apologize for any emotional distress whenever he doesn't pick the magnifying glass power.

-Lots of magic, both the working horse spell caster type who uses fireball for their 9 to 5 all the way out to reality bending magic that spans worlds. Names have power, that's why I try to give lots of characters appropriately stupid powers.

-This story features an open (and sometimes messy) relationship where the harem applies to both the male and female lead. People who expose themselves to mortal danger for justice, money, and/or power are a little odd, as it turns out.

-No explicit sex scenes. You are welcome to make up your own descriptions of sex then read them aloud to friends and family.

-Lots of blood but I try not to spend much time talking about corpses. You are welcome to make up your own descriptions of corpses and read them aloud to friends and family.

-A long planned story and long character arcs. Rome wasn't built in a day, and you sure as heck can't fix Wick in a week.

-Right now a single POV story.
