<p>When the sun went out, it brought terrifying changes to the world. Humans began erupting into twisted abominations all across the globe, and the rest quickly found themselves in a struggle to survive.</p> <p>Chris Renault is an Outer, one of the lucky minority that gained supernatural abilities during The Outage. Together with his peers, he must struggle to find out what happened and how to reverse it before time runs out.</p> <p>***</p> <p>This is my first story on Royal Road, written for the Community Magazine Contest.
