I also write Wizard's Tower and An Old Man's Journey.</p> <p>For those of you who read Wizard's Tower, you can already guess what this story is based on the title.</p> <p>For those of you who don't...</p> <p>While writing Wizard's Tower, I had a number of shoutouts that I would return in the form of an ongoing flash fiction in my Author's notes. Just having a bit of fun with the whole shoutout thing. Yet, as the first book of Wizard's Tower goes to Amazon, the rules there mean that I have to pull down the chapters with these author's notes.</p> <p>I felt this was unfair to the stories that I had shouted out. I didn't like it. The shoutouts Wizard's Tower got and the ones I gave back are important to me, and I read a LOT of stories on Royal Road. Probably too many, but that's up for debate.</p> <p>So... that leads me to this beauty. Hidden Paths: The Shoutout Saga. A false and humorous tale of one man striving against the rule-makers of the world to thank the authors of the fictions he reads.</p> <p>Author's Note: This story will never go to Amazon. Might not ever finish. Is not to be taken seriously. Is written by an amazing and handsome man that should be on the cover of GQ. Has several inside jokes that you won't get unless you read the fictions in question. Is not for profit.
