<p>Finding themselves at ground zero of an atom bomb, a person comes to terms with their impending doom, and braces for their eventual obliteration. Yet after the bright blast, they find themselves fully conscious in the midst of an endless void. In it, they hear the voice of a goddess, who's just as uncertain of why this person is here as they are.</p> <p>Seeing this situation, the goddess proposes an offer; they stay in this numb void for eons until she finds a way to send them back, or they become her vassal, and accomplish a task for her, which is to oversee a child's growth as an intangible spirit. This task already seems to be way harder than it looks, with this child being way down with her luck from the get-go. It's their job to see to it that this kid lives a fulfilling life. But in this fantastical world where magic is abound and all kinds of races walk the earth, this has the be potential to be a bit more exciting, and a lot more dangerous.</p> <p>Heyo! First time writing a novel, so don't be afraid to tell me your thoughts on my work. Any critique (preferably constructive) is more than welcome.</p> <p>Currently, I'm still getting used to writing more than 2k words. Hopefully I can find a rhythm and be able to post a chapter on a regular schedule soon.</p> <p>Finally, I don't tend to prefer writing about explicit themes, but I won't shy away from it as long as it serves a purpose, so I might change the warning tags down the line.</p> <p>Hope you enjoy!</p>
