In a world where only strength matters, a world of magic, and knights, of God’s and Devils. A small family is persecuted and forced into the toughest of all decisions…

—————————————————————————————————————————————————

Hey! This is just something that I played around with on and off for a long time… this doesn’t mean I stopped writing Journals of Cultivation, or it’ll slow down (anymore then it already is), just that I’ve spent the last couple of weeks without much to do at work. Because of that, I spent a lot of time reading various stories in the popular this week, or active top 50… and I noticed a certain troubling theme. Almost all of the stories involving an MC living in a game-world are just bad. I’m not going to name names, but when the formatting is non-existent, the spell checking worse, and grammar so atrocious that I cannot get through half a freaking prologue, but it’s in the top 50 for popular this week… It makes me sad. Not to say that I’m perfect, I’m not. Also, not to say that these authors should give up, they shouldn’t. I just really hope that people will put more thought into their writing, proofreading, and reviews.

On the other hand, this is one of my favorite plot devices. How would you live differently if every single action and non-action, every single decision makes a visible, appreciable difference in your life? Personally, I’d probably eat a little less, and it’d be SOO much easier to work out if I saw strength, agility, toughness, or something else go up in response. Anyway, after reading many bad (and good) attempts to use this device I just couldn’t help but attempt to craft a world where stats play an integral part in everyone’s life.

The prologue has been posted, and I’ll update the description later. A chapter of Journal’s of Cultivation will be coming out on Sunday(tomorrow), and I should be able to put out another two next week to catch up with my schedule. Thanks to all of my readers/fans/critics, and I hope you’ll enjoy!

Chit
