As a thrall, Calder suffers the consequences of his ancestors' sins. Despised by most, he and those close to him struggle to survive in a world overrun with horrifying monsters. But when he unexpectedly awakens his Seed, he sets into motion a chain of events that will change his life and make him question everything he knows.

Against all odds, Calder must survive a gruesome training and become one of the Einherjar—warriors who wield otherworldly powers. And he needs to hurry because the fate of humanity's last stronghold rests on his shoulders.

Author's notes (beware slight SPOILERS):

- The story is written in the first person. I know quite a lot of readers dislike it, so I just want to put it here,

- A really short way to describe the setting? Norse mythology meets Lovecraft in a magitech world,

- The main character is strong, but not OP, and most fights are team-based,

- He's also not a spellsword,

- The story is split into self-contained books (350-450 pages each), and the first one is 50% done,

- Schedule: two chapters a week.
