<p> Lothian is a quiet place, always keeping to itself while the other clans of the Riverlands fight amongst themselves. Ruled by some of the greatest warriors to ever serve the Blood King, it was a safe place to raise a family. But when one of the great soldiers goes missing, its defenses start to fall. But when her village is attacked by an unknown enemy, she is forced to leave though not under the supervision of the army commander, but as a novice commander of a company of her own. </p> <p> While leading her men to Waten under the orders of the commander who recruited her, another mission comes to light when one of her companions finds a secret book in an underground chamber. The only thing in it they can read is a list of names inside the front and back cover and the title, The Book of Dawn. The company must decide its fate when one of the names in the front cover reads Nadia Valleo - KOD. </p> <p> In a world where everyone wants her dead, she must choose a path. To follow the orders of a dead commander and lead her men into training or to walk blindly by an old book with her name in it that no one has seen for a thousand years. </p>
