Born three months earlier than he should have, Will lived his first fifteen years of life in a struggle against the encroaching death constantly creeping upon his under-developed body.

Growing up with few friends, he immersed himself in books, allowing his mind to wander through fantastical worlds where everything was possible, giving him an idealistic view of the world.

When a child in his small town gets attacked by a wild animal, his father goes out to try to save it, leaving Will alone in his home.

Barely does anyone know that the creature is not only much more dangerous than a rogue wolf from the nearby forests, but it comes from an entirely different world, the barriers of which have been damaged and punctured.

The monster encroaches Will's house, its new prey in reach, while Will is defenseless and unaware of the events transpiring over all of the kingdoms and empires at this very moment. An event that will shape the future of the continent and of all humanity to come.

Will he be able to survive his encounter and discover the new reality of a world where barriers between the physical and the astral are unnaturally thinned?

Will he be able to save his family from certain tragedy and also manage to outpace his worsening condition?

Will he use his newfound knowledge to truly ascend to his highest potential, beyond his natural body's capabilities in a world shaken by changes to its very foundation?

Peering into the abyss of the unknown may bring strength to Will, but also reveal him to some who might have ill intentions. Some who are vastly more powerful than he can yet conceive.

The world is growing, both in size as in dangers. Let's hope he can keep up.

Do let me know about possible improvements to the story's structure. I am a beginner and know that there will be some issues now and then. I hope you enjoy it as much as I am enjoying writing it.

PS: The main character takes a hell of a beating at first, but the intent is for him to grow insanely strong in the long run. There might be slight lit-RPG if the polls so decide, but it will not be the element holding the entire narration together.

A huge shout out to Nate Crotts, writer of the awesome Lit-RPG "The Sorceress' Soul" and the one who made this insane cover for Regenesis Perfecta. Check out his work here on Royal Road.

Due to a 100% approval in a poll, the story will now contain a system interface like those seen in Lit-RPGs. It will not change the original premise whatsoever and will merely be used as a way to better convey Will's perception and capabilities in a more familiar manner.

Complement, not substitution. I am confident it will be a positive, but do let me know.

Do let me know as well about possible improvements to the story's structure. I am a beginner and know that there will be some issues now and then, be they excessive commas, an old issue of mine, or other grammar shenanigans.

I hope you enjoy the story as much as I am enjoying writing it.

PS: The main character takes a hell of a beating at first, but the intent is for him to grow insanely strong in the long run. There may be some scenes with high emotional damage for the protagonist, but I'm not going to make a story for sadists. Lots of growth just takes lots of hardship. And this kid knows some hardship.

A huge shout out to Nate Crotts, writer of the awesome Lit-RPG "The Sorceress' Soul" and the one who made this insane cover for Regenesis Perfecta. Check out his work here on Royal Road.
