<p>On this sunless planet, a black sky is the only constant. The cold planet has mountains, valleys, and planes covered with snow. Glowing purple plasma, a highly unstable liquid-gas matter, occasionally springs from underground rivers and creates enormous purple lakes in between snow-covered planes. The purple matter is a profitable source of energy for cyber-planets.</p> <p>A steampunk rig on the sunless planet is the only place inhabited by humans, all men, who pride themselves on keeping the highly unstable rig functioning for centuries.</p> <p>The story of this sci-fi horror novel starts when an unknown creature infects the rig, and the security captain has no choice but to ask for help from CASTEL, the private mega-bio-company that manages trades with the isolated steampunk rig.</p> <p>CASTEL uses technologies that are not, according to the rig employees, "by the book".</p> <p>There is nothing more horror sci-fi than WORK.</p>
