<p>In this story, a teenage boy named Huang Jin, who is engaged in a special profession behind the scenes, receives a phone call from his boss during the initial outbreak of zombies. The boss instructs Huang Jin to stay put in City C and wait for the organization's rescue. However, as time passes, two whole years go by, and the organization still hasn't sent anyone to his location. The young boy decides to venture alone to the city where his boss is located, City Z. Along the way, he encounters a search and rescue dog without an owner and a seven-year-old girl named Jiuer who, despite being a zombie, retains her sanity. Thus, the journey of one person, one dog, and one zombie unfolds.</p>
