A brilliant engineer was killed one afternoon; in a war he didn't understand nor that he wished to be a part of. Now, with he is flung off into the unknown and was reborn into a technologically primitive world, of which he got stuck into an unfamiliar role and an equally unfamiliar body. His only hope to keep his sanity in check is to build. To build technological marvels that this world has never seen the likes of.

This story is a response to all of others in the "reincarnation/transportation" genre, where the main character would not bother to try to implement technology from Earth to their new world. I'm sure there are some out there, but I've been wanting to try my own hand at this.

This story will have an irregular update speed, as I'm still getting my bearings on writing out a story. I'm releasing the first several chapters at once to commit myself to this. Expect roughly weekly updates for now.

A man was killed on afternoon, an engineer, killed off in the midst of a war. Now, he finds himself flug off into the unkown onto a strange world, into a strange role, and a strange body. A world that is technologically underdeveloped compared to Earth, a world of strange things such as magic. A world full of the unkown.
A war broke out, fighting for the scarce resources of Earth. An unwilling soldier was killed in a violent, fiery death while on the line of duty and was flung off into the beyond. He soon found himself reborn in a new world, a strange world. A world more reliant on magic than technology, more reliant on man than machine. The only thing that made the trip to this world was his own mind. Desperate for a sense of normalcy and another horrible death, he vows to perform feats of engineering that this world has never seen the likes of.

This story is more a response to all of others in the "reincarnation/transportation" genre, where the main character would usually not bother to try to implement technology or orther modern concepts from Earth to their new world.
Necessity is the mother of all invention, but what happens when magic replaces that necessity? An engineer was killed in a firey death one day, sending him off to a strange and unknown world, full of medieval human civilizations, ones that relied more on magic than technology. Placed into a strange and foreign role, his only hope to starve off his hunger for his original home is to invent and create technology that this world has never seen the likes of, and to avoid another horrible death.

This story is more a response to all of others in the "reincarnation/transportation" genre, where the main character would usually not bother to try to implement technology or orther modern concepts from Earth to their new world. Nothing will be made out of thin air, everything is either logical or has some plot relevance. Due to this, there are also absolutely zero litRPG genre elements featured; nobody will be grossly overpowered nor will any characters improve via "stats".

There is no set release schedule that I am keeping up with, but I try to release a chapter once every one to two weeks. I make a point to make each chapter of decent size.

Some profanity is scattered throughout.

Cover image is a slightly edited stock photo.
