<p> The Verant Chronicles Series - Book Two continues where book one left off. Elwin is reunited with his friends after his time spent at the Imperial Palace. Armed with new orders, a dossier of information and a confidence that he did not have when he left, he must convince them to follow him on this next adventure. The training of this new wizard has some harsh lessons. Servia is out of her element and must learn quickly. Vask has his own plans to take on a growing but yet unseen dark force. He will need his family, Servia and her growing powers to help in that fight. </p> <p> And what of Auldric Hearthstone? His story also continues to expand since he has accepted Lucius' offer which will change the course of his life and his new partner Brie. </p> <p> From the Imperial Palace to a desert city, and from a sea side resort town to a new frontier infested with monsters, the world of Gaia continues its gritty realism as more and more of the realm comes into view with each passing chapter. This Romanesque world continues to be manipulated by unseen Gods and is slowly evolving in different ways as new world technologies and thinking, meet old world magic and beliefs. Elwin and his companions continue to mature as young adults. and yet still they face serious moral and ethical dilemmas at every turn. </p> <p> Planned to be 35+ chapters including prologue and epilogue. Chapters will be released about once a week. </p>
