'Forsaken Realms', the new, state of the art, 'perfect' VRMMO. A wide range of classes, unique titles, enough content to keep people busy for a year on release. Swords, bows, axes, spears, or fists; there wasn't a weapon category in the world the game didn't have. Siege weapons for NPC or guild battles existed as well. In fact, the only real weapons that weren't in the game were the so called 'weapons of mass destruction' like guns, nukes, missiles, etc. Likewise, the game had weapons unavailable to those in real life, magic.

Naturally, the game seemed interesting and it drew a very large fanbase considering the hype and the company behind the project, or companies to be specific. The highest regarded VRMMO companies decided to cooperate on a joint project and out came 'Forsaken Realms'. Among the fanbase was a graduate and his friends seeking a fun game to play, but they obtained far more than they bargained for.
