Augustus, about the murderous work of vengeance and retribution, has no notion of the change that has come into the earth. The Convergence, as it announces itself. Nor does he care for it. He begins his morning with murder and ends his day with great power. When the power he gains awakens a desire for absolute command over all there is in the world, will he learn control, will he understand his true nature, and will he find purpose to existence?

All her life, Tess has had the belief that a grand destiny lies in her future. Now in her sophomore year of college, years of waiting for this destiny to reveal itself have made her jaded and unmotivated. When a yellow box filled with text imposes itself before Tess's face, a dying hope re-emerges; has her great future finally come? When that destiny appears tied to the service of a powerful being set about world domination, will the burden of power and authority corrupt her as it has so many?

The unmade has a post-apocalyptic LitRpg setting. When a realm with magic convergences with earth, the new world is greatly different from previous realms. Geography is changed, much of what existed disappears, and people awaken strange new abilities. In this new world, the powers of the realm of magic exist, but so do the numbered hosts of men with their lost knowledge striving to understand this new world full of monsters and magic.

The Unmade is a slow burn. I intend this to be a long story since I like exploring the full range of character actions. There are plenty of combat and violence-filled chapters, but it's mostly character driven.

The gore can be pretty vivid at times, why the tags. Reader discretion is advised. And of course, it's all fiction. Don't take anything too seriously. :-)
