And another one fell...
The Eternals had their chance to assume dominance over the world but a single man sought to end it.
The colossal-killer, the Son of No One, the reclaimer.
Whatever he was known as this man waged a steadfast war against them. But this war had all been for nothing. The inevitable end came.
So much was given and so little was given in return. Lives, countless lives, had been lost for nothing. He was no hero. He was a monster like the monsters he fought.
And when he finally thought he'd been freed from his bindings and cursory he found himself in the aftermath. The aftermath of a world he could not save.
(Author's Note: Hello! I'm Discover Hope. I've been writing for some time now but just decided to try my hand at this. I figured I'd start fresh and make a brand new story. Due to my schedule (I'm a firefighter) it is fairly difficult to pump out chapters. So expect them at irregular intervals until I can fit it into my busy job. This story isn't my passion story per se nor is it my flagship. But it is thematically similar to other stories I write. Which one day I may post here. This story in particular was inspired by Beowulf. It starts off with a bang but smooths out. Thank you, have patience, and enjoy!)
