God... An omnibenevolent being has out of blue released total carnage upon the world pushing humanity to its last legs. The southern king, the king with the weakest power in the 4 kingdoms was the first to fall in this calamity. Having no choice but to evacuate this hellscape he once knew as his kingdom he retreats to the Barren Borderlands. Days without water or food just continuous movement throughout the scorching sand leaves him plenty of time to contemplate on life. His despair soon turns to resentment and then rage. This rage brought forth an idea. And the king elaborated on the idea at the cost of his own life. To summon a champion comes at a hefty price. The price of one's flesh and blood but most importantly their humanity, the thing that keeps them whole and separates them from the filthy vacants that the traitorous God birthed to eradicate humanity.
