A lone hunter, exiled for the crimes of his father, stumbles upon a vault imprisoning an ancient evil, the Chosen. During the red sun, the hunter arrives in time to witness the prophesized escape of the immortal prisoners as their jailor falters for the first time in eons. Through a twist of fate, the hunter is entrusted with warning the world of its approaching ruin as he inherits the mantle of Emissary. Thus begins the Age of Chaos.
