A world of fantasy and magic, heroes and wars, kings and monsters.

Oran lives a simple and carefree life away from the troubles of the world. The son of a famed knight, he and his friends spend their winters learning, and their summers playing and exploring the country around their village home. Yet when Oran kills an ancient guardian of the land to protect his sister, he discovers that it was an aspect of the wind, and that his country is now cursed to wither and die without it. The village Seeress explains that there is only one way to bring the wind back: he must journey to find the Wind-God and beg for forgiveness. His father, unwilling to risk Oran's life, takes up the task on his behalf.

Yet when four years later Oran's father has not so much as sent word, the people blame Oran for causing the curse and his father for betraying them. Oran refuses to believe that his father abandoned them and, as the people of his home leave to find a better life, he makes his decision: he will follow in his father's footsteps and set right the wrong he caused.

Windhunter is going to be a high-fantasy action-adventure series with some mild anime/shounen influences. It's going to feature quite a lot of action, fight-scenes and 'growth', and over time more characters will join Oran on his journey.

There is currently no set schedule as I'm trying to figure out the best day for uploading new chapters, but there will likely be one eventually. Until then chapters will be uploaded when ready. :)
