Author's note: This story starts off like a cheesy Isekai but it develops into a straightforward fantasy after the first few chapters. While it's not intended to be satire or a comedy, it will occasionally poke fun at some of the more common tropes.

Hugh Johnson loved to play evil characters in his favourite game Eternal Fantasy VI

Not because he particularly liked being the bad guy, but because it was so lucrative. People paid money to watch him grief the goody-two-shoes heroes, cause mischief, and ruin their plans. He was building his own Evil League of Evil Villains and life was pretty good.

All that changed the day he was summoned to the world of Eternasy to fight against the evil characters he had created.

Now he's starting over with no stat screens, no skill points, no number crunching to min-max his attributes, and absolutely no clue on how to begin killing off the seven most powerful characters he'd created.

This story is GameLit in only the vaguest sense - the world is similar to a game the protagonist played on Earth. There are no status screens, no chapters spent agonizing on how to distribute points, and absolutely, positively, no friggin maths. The author doesn't take this story seriously, and neither should you.
