Lucifer Morningstar is tired of following his father's (God) plan and asks for his freedom. His father, surprisingly, grants him this freedom and tosses him outside creation, all the while stripping him of most of his powers. There, the Devil finds something very interesting - a world of magic, qi, and monsters. If only his dear old dad was as creative as the bloke who made this world.

Lucifer might be far weaker than he used to be, but that only makes things more interesting for him.
