The year was 1770 for the world of magic, monsters, and sword wielding heroes; a world of fantasy. It was a world where scientific progress was hindered by the convinience of magic. for 600,000 thousand years, scientific progress was mostly stagnant. Though there was still progress and there were some inventions that made life somewhat easier and had impact on the world. One of which, is the first firearm was invented called the 'Arqeubus' and later the musket. It changed how soldiers fought on the battlefield, how borders are drawn and helped create multiple empires.

But, something had happened that changed the course of history completely... The Steam Engine. It changed people's way of life, no longer they worked and live in rural farms and houses, but instead: Cities and Large Factories. Suddenly, the world of fantasy awoke to a new age... The age of Industrialization.

It was a time of great invention that had never been seen before. As time passes, technology started to improve, such as: Trains and cars, despite being expensive to make, it made transporting faster and easier. Planes, now started to challenge dragons in the sky and created a new type of warfare. Rifles, now became the standard weapon of "Civilized nations" effectively replacing Bow and arrow and ended the usage of armor. There was also radio, explosive weapons, industrilized farming; increasing the food production, etc.

However, technology isn't the only that had changed. The continent of Cecilia as well, and it is now plagued of revolution and nationalism. Many were sick of feudalism and or being under a monarch. Many dreamed of a nation for the people and by the people. Liberal and Socialist ideals spread throughout the industrialized and feudal world.

Traditional clashed with reformist ideas. Science and Magic were at odds. Empires became larger and were now against each other to achieve their interest. The slow growing tension between nations will eventully lead to the one of the most deadliest conflicts the world of magic had ever seen. A war that will cost millions of lives for the sake of victory...
